Mission

At Mantis Jiu-Jitsu

At Mantis Jiu-Jitsu, our mission is to bring disciplined, effective Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu to the South City community. Our program is built on structured instruction, pressure-tested techniques, and a clear path of progression. We blend traditional fundamentals with modern, competition-proven methods to help students train with purpose. Whether you’re here to compete, learn self-defense, or just show up and put in the work, we’re here to guide your growth honestly, consistently, and with intention.

What Sets Us Apart

At Mantis Jiu-Jitsu

We were built with this community in mind. We believe great training should be accessible and rooted where people live and work. We’re not just teaching technique, we’re building connections, fostering discipline, and creating a space where everyone can grow at their own pace

Our approach is local and personal. We understand the rhythm of the neighborhood and what it takes to show up consistently. That’s why our focus is on steady progress, real skill development, and a supportive environment that pushes you
